The official opening of a private beach near Krakow is coming soon. A resort complex is being built in Nieznanowice near Gdów. There will be a sandy beach, a swimming area, a fishery, a restaurant, leisure and recreationspace and cottages. All this is less than 40 kilometers from the capital of Malopolska. Opening in early July!
The Kuter Port Nieznanowice complex is being developed from former fish ponds . At first, the site contained only a restaurant with a terrace through which the river flows. All fish dishes come from the pond, where you will soon be able to come for private fishing. Beneath the restaurant is the Lower Deck , a room resembling the interior of a ship, where various special events will be held. The river flowing through the middle of the terrace can be seen on the ceiling of the Lower Deck, so that guests can feel as if they are underwater.
Fishing ground and beach in Nieznanowice
Modernization work is underway in the fishing area - the developer has decided to divide it into two parts. One of them is open to the public, the other consists of 13 private sites from which you can fish for carp swimming in the pond. Here you can also set up a tent and come camping. The public part accommodates about 30 people.
The beach is the real attraction of the complex - on an area of 1.5 hectares a new part of the reservoir was created, isolated from the fishing area. It features three pools of three different depths. A children's wading pool, a smaller pool up to 120 meters deep and a larger pool up to 180 meters deep. The beach is covered with 25,000 tons of fine white sand.
The beach area has also been separated into parts - a water body, a sandy beach, a strip of grassy beach and a recreational area

The beach zone has also been separated into parts - a body of water, a sandy beach, a strip of grassy beach and a recreational area. Sand volleyball courts, a playground with a water element, and in the future a saunarium and spa are being built. Complex manager Tomasz Lucek expects the beach to accommodate two to as many as three thousand people.
The investor's goal is to create a comfortable place without crowds. The project of the complex is topped by a zone of bungalows - the first 6 bungalows have already been commissioned, the whole estate is to be built. The cottages are two, four or six-bedroom. The roofs are thatched and the facade is wicker.
Gdansk-based architect Arkadiusz Kolinski is responsible for the overall design of the entire beach layout, landscaping elements and cottages. The visual layer of the entire Kuter Port Nieznanowice complex was inspired by water and the tradition of fishing.
