Cosentino at Warsaw Home

20 of October '19

Inspirational talks with architects, media representatives and bloggers, a perfectly designed and equipped kitchen and lounge area, an exhibition of the latest offerings from large-format surfaces Dekton andSilestone, breakfasts and lunches surprisingly rich in taste, prepared by master Alexander Baron - the recently concluded Warsaw Home was a spectacular success for Spanish brand Cosentino, which presented itself at the fair for the first time this year.

In just a few years, the Warsaw Home Fair has become the largest event of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe. The original concept attracted tens of thousands of enthusiasts of good design to Nadarzyn; for four days everyone could taste, feel and see what the near future of the design world will look like. Cosentino's premiere at this year's Warsaw Home was unique in many ways. The Spanish brand invited Aga Kobus and Grzegorz Goworek, accomplished architects from Studio O, to collaborate on the booth. The designers divided the exhibition space into three completely different zones; a bright one, inviting and presenting the portfolio and multiple applications of the Dekton ultra-compact surface, a central one, being the heart of the stand and highlighting the company's rich history, and a lounge, dark one, focusing on the presentation of Silestone quartz conglomerate. This procedure not only allowed visitors to see the materials themselves, but also demonstrated their versatility - as Cosentino surfaces were used for countertops, flooring, wall cladding, furniture and even doors, thanks to the use of 4 mm thick Dekton Slim - the thinnest and lightest offering in the manufacturer's portfolio.

Located in Hall D, the exposition was visited by a lot of people over the four fair days. On the first day, the booth hosted dedicated meetings for the press and interior design bloggers. The second day of the event belonged to architects, representing the Association of Interior Designers and other design studios friendly to the brand, as well as business partners. The last two days were dominated by individual customers looking for apt ideas and functional solutions to finish their homes.

The trade fair hit was the exposition of the most fashionable Dekton and Silestone designs, including spatial installations presenting collections inspired by nature. The reception counter with a monolithic, modern form, made of Dekton Opera material, could not go unnoticed, nor could the intimate relaxation area, where the main role was played by the Silestone Eternal Noir pattern, presented for preview. Top-quality furnishings - a bi-fireplace by Planika, tables designed by Arthur Athayde, an exceptional John John sofa provided by Studio Forma 96, as well as decorations by Serax - were the perfect accompaniment for this noble material.

The central part of the exhibition, focusing the eyes and senses of visitors, was the kitchen area of the stand. Prepared especially for the fair, the built-in was created in Spain and included a comfortable cooking area made of Dekton Zenith (white) and Dekton Kira (brown), equipped with household appliances from the Comitor range and lighting by Vibia. It was here that visitors to the booth could get energized with delicious coffee, taste the original Spanish jamon ham, and talk to specialists about the possible applications of all the products in the Cosentino portfolio. The culmination of the events was a culinary demonstration by Alexander Baron, known, among others, from the TV series "With a Fork in the Map." This well-known and well-liked chef, during the fair, prepared perfect dishes at the Cosentino booth - simple, yet extremely tasty, created using roast beef, Polish groats and pickled vegetables. As he worked on successive dishes, he shared his culinary knowledge with the assembled guests - he talked about his recipes and cooking experiences.

This year's theme of Cosentino's exposition was INSPIRATION, INNOVATION, INTERACTION! They included discussions about the interplay between interior and exterior, the interaction between art and design, Cosentino's collaborative projects with brand ambassadors, including Cindy Crawford and internationally recognized designers, as well as discussions about ecology, sustainability and supporting local communities. The booth's partners were brands: Comitor, Studio Forma 96, Planika, Serax, Vibia and Decodore.
