With modernization projects in mind, Schüco has improved the proven Schüco EasySlide sliding system in PVC-U, which combines high efficiency with easy production. Tested in many applications, the lift-and-slide door impresses with a large glazing area, even better thermal insulation and a wide selection of opening types.
With two, three or four sashes in a single frame, a flat threshold and the option to use double-glazing - the latest sliding system from PVC-U Schüco EasySlide provides even more design options, including improved thermal insulation and optimal RC2 intrusion resistance. What's more, key elements of the system, such as the sealing zones, corners and profile geometry, among others, have been improved, ensuring greater durability of the joinery. The new generation of Schüco EasySlide easily achieves a Uf coefficient for the frame alone of 1.47 W/(m2K) in the standard version. The optimized heat transfer coefficient contributes to reducing the building'sCO2 emissions. In addition, you can opt for bio-based PVC-U, in which petroleum has been replaced by talcum oil created during production from pine wood. This reducesCO2 emissions by up to 90% compared to traditional PVC joinery. Thus, the product is ideally suited to the needs of investments that apply for environmental ratings in programs such as LEED or DGNB.
The ideal retrofit solution
With a shallow sash depth of 70 mm and a frame depth of 167 mm, the Schüco EasySlide PVC-U door is ideal for retrofit buildings. The sashes are factory-fitted with prefabricated gaskets of the highest quality, and the maximum glazing thickness is 40 mm as standard. However, if necessary, thicker glazing of up to 42 mm can be used by replacing the gaskets. Lift-and-slide elements are sealed in two planes, on the inside and outside, which guarantees optimum protection from the weather, thanks to air permeability class 4 and water tightness level 6A. The profile's drainage and vapor pressure equalization system are hidden, so they do not interfere with the attractive appearance of the lift-and-slide door. A wide range of more than 300 Schüco UnlimitedFinish foil colors and durable Schüco TopAlu aluminum surfaces make it possible to match terrace doors
EasySlide to suit almost any building.

Evolution of a proven system
The Schüco EasySlide lift-and-slide system was developed on the basis of the Schüco CT 70 PVC-U system platform and is fully compatible with it. Thanks to the use of identical parts, the optimization of components, and rapid assembly using screws, the production and installation of the door is extremely efficient. Fixing the carriages used in the durable lift-and-slide mechanism does not require additional machining of the hardware groove in the sash frame. This not only saves time, but also ensures that the reinforcement chamber of the leaf frame remains completely closed, and all the steel sections used have the same cross sections.
