We are publishing a correction to the article "Half a million fine from the provincial conservator of historical monuments for illegal renovations in the historic House under the Eagles," which contained vague information that was not fully verified, so that the content of the article put the National Cooperative Council in a hypocritical light, suggesting that as the owner of the historic House under the Eagles, it is obliged to pay the fine that the Mazovian Provincial Conservator of Historical Monuments imposed on one of the tenants of the premises.
Correction of the article "Half a million fine from the provincial historic preservation officer for illegal renovations at the historic House under the Eagles"
In connection with the publication of the article dated 30.07.2021 under the title "Half a million penalty from the provincial conservator of monuments for illegal renovations in the historic House under the Eagles", we would like to inform you that the text contained untrue and inaccurate statements that the Mazovian Provincial Conservator of Monuments in Warsaw imposed on the owner of the historic building "House under the Eagles" located on ul. Jasna 1 in Warsaw, i.e. the National Cooperative Council, a penalty in the amount of PLN 500 thousand, due to the conduct of construction works in the Bank Operations Room without the required permit, while the penalty in question was imposed on the tenant (holder) of the above premises, i.e. Grupa CK Sp. z o. o. with its seat in Piaseczno. In this regard, it should be clearly emphasized that the National Cooperative Council is not responsible for the unlawful action of the tenant and is making efforts to restore the premises to a lawful state.
