We invite students and graduates of design and design-related fields to participate in a lamp design competition.
The theme of the competition entitled "Light & Style" is the design of a lamp, which is to be a beautiful and unique decoration of the interior, and not just an element of lighting.
The originator of the competition is the lighting company Eko-Light, manufacturer of the brand Milagro by Maciej Zień, and the honorary patron is the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice.
We are looking for bold, unobvious design solutions that catch the eye. Our goal is to identify young talents and establish cooperation that will be mutually beneficial," says Tomasz Litwin, president of Eko-Light.
Knowing how difficult it is to make a name for itself on the international market, the company decided to facilitate the start of young talents of Polish design. The winning design will be presented at the International Trade Fair for Light and Installation Technology "Light + Building 2020" in Frankfurt am Main. An important part of the award is also the opportunity to see how the project presents itself in practice. The lamp will be produced during the year until the competition is decided.
The winner will also have the opportunity to meet designer Maciej Zień, who is one of the competition's jurors.
