Due to the COVID-19pandemic, SARP Torun and the Municipality of Torun, the organizers of the competition have decided to postpone the deadline for the submission of competition entries from May 8 this year to September 15 this year. The deadline for the public announcement of the results of the competition combined with the opening of the post-competition exhibition and post-competition discussion will be October 9, 2020.
The Municipality of the City of Torun, in cooperation with the Torun branch of SARP, last December announced a one-stage, conceptual competition for the development of the riverside area from the Torun Marina to the Wood Harbor. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the organizers decided to change the deadline for submitting competition entries from May 8, 2020 to September 15, 2020.
The goal of the competition is to find the best possible functionaland spatial solution for the area stretching from the yacht marina at the end of the boulevard, to the western border of the city, to propose friendly and attractive spaces in this area with a specific use for residents and visitors, and to connect the whole with a recreational and educationalpath.
