The idea of sustainability is extremely important today when choosing building materials and products. The Sto sp. z o.o. decided to meet the ecological challenges by creating the AimS® line of products, thanks to which architects and contractors no longer have to choose between environmental performance and the functionality of the materials used.
When an idea becomes a necessity
The Green Deal project assumes climate neutrality for the European Union by 2050. Therefore, already today when designing new buildings, as well as renovating old ones, we should take into account stricter standards, relating to durability, composition of building materials, as well as their insulation parameters. The Green Deal therefore poses challenges to manufacturers and market leaders, who have a special responsibility.
AimS® - the materials of tomorrow, available today
AimS® is a combination of the words Aim and Sustainability - purpose and sustainability. What does this mean?
Sto's AimS® line of products and systems are based on pine oil from the bark of coniferous trees. The binder of façade products, which was previously made from petroleum-based mineral oils, here is based as much as 30% on a natural raw material, known until now more for its healing properties.
In addition, the products included in the AimS® line have excellent performance characteristics, are highly durable, resistant to dirt and microbiological contamination. All this is perfectly in line with the goals of sustainable development.
Good quality and timeless value
Customers in the construction industry - developers, tenants and private clients - are looking for solutions that are aesthetically pleasing, economical and at the same time of high quality. They also increasingly rely on certified buildings, that is, buildings created in the spirit of sustainable development. To meet all these expectations, the Sto brand offers a range of products and systems and among them this most sustainable line, AimS®.
In line with our philosophy:
"To build with passion. Build consciously."
