Awards were granted in the Eco-Producer program of Cemex Poland

As part of a new program, Cemex Poland recognizes customers who choose ^Vertua® low-emission cements out of concern for the environment. The new program for customers, EcoPRODUCENT, is part of the global "Future in Action" strategy to combat climate change.

55,000 tons - this is how much Cemex Poland has reduced_CO2 emissions into the atmosphere thanks to customers who have purchased cements with a low clinker factor. This is the amount of carbon dioxide that would be absorbed by as many as 9 million trees per year.

With a view to customers who make conscious, ecological choices, thus supporting the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere, Cemex Poland created the Eco-Producer program.

In the first edition of the initiative, awards and certificates were given to 84 companies. Included in this group were Cemex Polska's customers who, by choosing low-emission cements from the^Vertua® line, significantly reduced their clinker index and thus reduced_CO2 emissions. The 12 companies that can boast the best results in this regard also received commemorative statuettes.

Cemex for the climate

Offering low-carbon product solutions is part of Cemex's global "Future in Action" strategy. Its goal is to combat climate change by, among other things, reducing carbon dioxide emissions at production facilities.

In connection with the implementation of the aforementioned strategy, Cemex Poland's portfolio is consistently enriched with low-emission solutions for sustainable construction. These include ^Vertua® products, which allow a significant reduction in the carbon footprint of ongoing investments.
