In one of the courtyards in Wroclaw's Olbin stands a small (2.5 × 2.5 × 2.5 m) golden lump - a kiosk, where every month (or two) works created with this particular space in mind are presented.
The minimalist kiosk, though stripped of its original function, has largely retained its form. The distinctive and universal shape of the object further draws attention to itself with the golden color with which it was covered.
GOLDEN KIOSK is hidden in the courtyard at 37 Prusa St.

The microscopic art gallery allows individual perception of what is inside the golden block. Only one person can go inside at a time. This allows for a personal confrontation with the work, the space and sometimes even with the artist himself.
The selection of the following artists who will present their works in the GOLDEN KIOSK is not decided by the team creating this initiative (which includes Magdalena Kreis, Krzysztof Grześków and Yuriy Biley), but by a system of recommendations. The artist or artist presenting her realization typifies the next people. In this way, a kind of relay is created, making it possible to skip the competition route or open call. So far, Yuriy Biley, Barbara Gryka, Elżbieta Jabłońska, Honorata Martin and Marianna Grabska have shown their realizations at the GOLDEN KIOSK. The VI GOLDEN KIOSK installment with Jakub Danilewicz will be presented soon[info], and the next one will be presented in June as part of the Wrocław 70/20 Symposium[info].
