In Warsaw's Służewiec district, at the foot of the Adgar Bit building on Konstruktorska Street, architects from the mode:lina™ studio designed a small building - a contemporary amphitheater, whose form refers to the archetypal shape of a traditional building.
The concrete structure on the side of the street does not reveal its function, passers-by only see the circular form into which the greenery is inscribed. To see what lies on the other side of the massive ring, one is encouraged by its gentle elevation on the side of the office building leading to the heart of the amphitheater.

Every community needs a place to sit in a circle, to speak, to listen, to see, to express itself. The Brain Embassy Amphitheater in Warsaw is just such a place. We want it to become an open space for valuable meetings and speeches for many communities, a new symbol of this part of Mokotow and a spark for change. It is through this modern structure that we express our thinking - the search for a new perspective in what is already known," write the authors of the project.

Atraditional amphitheater consisted of an open-air arena in the shape of an ellipse or circle and surrounding it, stepped rows of seats for spectators. The designers of the Warsaw version of the structure introduced a similar solution - the structure was inscribed in a circle, its lower part is a basin with an auditorium sunken underground, and its upper part is a concrete and glass can opy supported by a massive reinforced concrete wall. One hundred and forty seats are staggered in front of the 40 m² stage. Above the auditorium is placed an angled crude concrete ring, into which the canopy is inscribed on one side and a grass-covered hill on the other.

The amphitheater is an open, democratic space for interesting meetings and artistic shows available to all residents and employees of the business district of Służewiec. The open-air stage was created in response to the challenges faced by Warsaw's business district - the lack of open public spaces, not surrounded by fences, which would allow meetings in the open air and in a friendly environment, the designers add.
The amphitheater in Warsaw's Służewiec district only formally refers to the ancient archetype, in its modern version it provides seats for the disabled, internet access, zoned lighting and the latest AV cabling.
