Training for the architectural, design and installation industry on air conditioning and ventilation systems in modernized historic buildings.
What are the procedures involved in applying for permission to install air conditioning in a historic building? Is the conservator's consent always needed, and does its absence mean the end of efforts to ensure the thermal comfort of commercial premises? You will be able to find out the answers to these, and other questions, during the training course: "Air conditioning systems meeting the requirements of conservation protection for modernized historic buildings," which will be held on September 22 this year at the headquarters of Thermosilesia in Ruda Slaska with the participation of the Silesian Regional Conservator of Monuments.
Thanks to renovation, spacious and well-lit apartments or business premises in tenement buildings delight with elegance and grandeur. Such are the advantages of living or running a business in a historic building. In large cities, hotels and restaurants in the old town attract crowds of tourists. What problems do current and future owners of such properties face? Those planning the adaptation are not allowed to interfere with the appearance of the facade, causing a change in the character of the historic building. Therefore, the installation of a traditional air conditioning system is sometimes impossible.
Luke Konarzewski, Silesian Provincial Conservator of Mon uments, will talk more about the special considerations related to the modernization of historic buildings on September 22 during a training course organized by Thermosilesia, owner of the Rotenso brand and the Rotenso RVF V- Stage system dedicated to monuments.
As suppliers of air-conditioning solutions, we have often received inquiries from installers, designers, as well as investors themselves, who are looking for a way to ensure stable thermal conditions of historic premises (necessary, on the one hand, for the comfort of the people staying or working in them, and on the other hand, for the maintenance of the building itself in good condition). In response to the difficulties signaled, we created the RVF V-STAGE Rotenso system. The intention of the training is to promote an innovative system designed for the modernization of buildings in compact, historic buildings, which do not allow the installation of a condensing unit on the facade or roof," explains the trainer Sylwester Stafiej Director of THERMOSILESIA Air Conditioning Systems.
