As part of the series Awakenings, the architect from the Wroclaw-based Maćków Pracownia Projektowa studio will talk about, among other things, the concept of recycled cities, ways to make architecture long-lasting, as well as the beginnings of his career, his childhood, his time as a student, his current professional work and plans for the future.
Zbigniew Macieków - a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Wrocław University of Technology and Kingston School of Architecture, architect of the Polish Chamber of Architects. Winner of more than fifty awards in architectural competitions. Co-initiator and participant of the New Żerniki model housing estate project, curator of architecture during the ECC Wrocław 2016. Founder of think tank Gęsto (future of habitation) and startup "diffeRent" (apartment as a service). Privately: awkward father, dog-walker, runner, motorcyclist.
