location
The café with a reading room is located on the first floor of a multi-family building at 87 Lazurowa Street in Warsaw's Bemowo district. The premises have an area of 140 square meters and are in a shell condition, adapted for small catering. In addition to the interior space, there is a 40 sq. m. terrace at the owner's disposal, which can be used for additional tables in spring and summer.

inspiration
The interior is inspired by the history and place of origin of coffee, drawing particularly on the art of Ethiopian tribes from the Orno River Valley, which influenced the choice of colors and patterns. The color palette and patterns were taken from the paintings and designs used by these tribes, creating a colorful and original space. Earth tones, reflecting balance and tranquility, create a pleasant and harmonious environment. The designer modeled the design after Hans Silvester's photographs, using patterns that Ethiopians paint on their bodies using earth and ash.

interior layout
The design divides the premises into an area for male and female clients and an area for male and female employees. The employee part includes a social room, bathroom, storage space, kitchen facilities and a bar area. A consumption room and two toilets are provided for male and female customers. The interiors are well lit thanks to glass display windows.
