The 5th edition of the Tubądzin Design Days series of events designed for the architecture industry will be held this year in a virtual space. Live transmitted meetings with experts will take place on June 9, 16 and 23.
In its traditional formula, Tubądzin Design Days is a series of events held in various Polish cities, accompanying the international Tubądzin Design Awards competition. The purpose of the meetings is dialogue between specialists in space creation, jointly leaning into challenges in the industry and networking. This year, in addition to moving the event online, the thematic spectrum of the meetings will change, enlarged to include economic issues.
This year's event will be divided into three thematic modules. Invited experts will answer questions that bother the industry from the perspective of many areas of business operations, but also the mechanisms that guide us in times of rapid change. The organizers will also try to find answers to questions about how the world of architecture and design will change after experiencing the pandemic. Guests of the online meetings will include economist Professor Jerzy Hausner, architect Jakub Szczęsny, psychologist Jacek Santorski and design trends analyst Zuzanna Skalska.

The first meeting, which will focus on architecture, will take place today, June 9, at 6 p.m. How COVID-19will affect emerging spaces will be discussed by: Jakub Szczęsny (architect), Boris Kudlička (set designer, architect, designer) and Jacek Santorski (social psychologist, business psychologist). The meeting will be moderated by Jaroslaw Kuźniar.

The main topic of the second meeting will be business. On June 16 at 18:00, Professor Jerzy Hausner (economist), Michal Sapota (president of HRE Investments) and Amadeusz Kowalski (vice chairman of the board of Tubądzin Group) will discuss how the current situation will affect the real estate market. The meeting will be moderated by business journalist Roman Młodkowski.

The last meeting scheduled for June 23 at 6 pm will be about design. Signals of change in design and business will be discussed by Zuzanna Skalska (analyst of trends in design, architecture, business and innovation), Malgorzata Szczepanska (editor-in-chief of Elle Decoration magazine) and Maciej Zien (fashion and interior designer). The meeting will be hosted by journalist Lukasz Radwan.
