four thematic blocks
The sixth edition of the Open Eyes Economy Summit, taking place on November 16 and 17 this year, traditionally consists of four thematic blocks:
- COMPANY IDEA,
- BRAND CULTURE,
- CITY IDEA,
- INTERNATIONAL GOVERNANCE.
Topics that will fill each block include: managing diversity in organizations, organizations and business ecosystems in the COVID era, historic cities, naturalization and vocalization of management, streaming & gaming, and designing a new world after a pandemic.
A lot of attention in the program will be given to foreign policy, the crisis of democratic states and the new US administration. The program will also feature a special track for the first time, in which invitees and speakers will devote attention to the Carpathians, discussing, among other things, the richness and diversity of the countries of Central Europe and the capital of the Carpathian mountain chain region.

Intergenerational relations is one of the main thoughts of the 6th Congress of the Open Eyes Economy Summit, which clearly stands out throughout the program, as well as in the social campaign accompanying the sixth edition. This year's congress for the first time has not one, but two faces of an older man and a young girl. Presented in the context of different thematic tracks, they draw attention to the multidimensionality of the issue of intergenerational relations, the organizers explain.
The congress will feature a series of intergenerational workshops for seniors and juniors, the results of which will be presented at an exhibition and during a performance at ICE, which will also feature a special Q&A session on generational diversity. The entire content will be complemented by a Generational Report prepared by experts from the OEES HUB think tank.
As every year, the November summit is a great opportunity for the Open Eyes Economy movement to take stock of its year-long work on sustainability and the social value economy. After a year and a half of fighting the pandemic, it's hard to point to a sphere of life that hasn't been affected by it. So it could not be otherwise, and in the case of the OEES 6 program its echoes, directly or indirectly, will be discernible in all thematic blocks. We are devoting a lot of attention this year to intergenerational relations, which are an incredibly important element, without which we will not build a new world. For many years, also as a lecturer at the University of Economics, I have observed how the younger generation learns from the older generation, and it is not always good knowledge. It's time to revive the flow of thought in the other direction. I believe that this will greatly contribute to the development of many innovative solutions, which, if only in the face of the climate catastrophe, are necessary for humanity. Today, the Open Eyes Economy Summit is not only an intellectual challenge, but also a direct action, to which I strongly encourage everyone to act -- says Prof. Jerzy Hausner, initiator and Chairman of the OEES Program Council.

Registration for the 6th Congress of the Open Eyes Economy Summit began in mid-September. Interested parties can participate in the congress both with the help of the Live OEES virtual streaming platform and stationary, at the ICE Krakow Congress Center.
In addition to its interdisciplinary program, OEES is also known for its lively and open formula and networking opportunities, facilitated by the specially arranged space of the ICE Congress Center and the openness of the Open Eyes Congress participants. During the congress, it will also be possible to take part in accompanying events, including - the Open Eyes Art Festival, or the Open Studios Festival organized by A&B.
Last year's edition, with the invaluable help of technological advances, allowed us to open the doors of OEES to the whole world. This year we will continue this international expansion, while returning to face-to-face conversations or what is probably better suited to the current situation eye-to-eye. For me, this is connected with unimaginable joy because the dose of energy that is generated during these two November days at ICE in Cracow is gigantic, and I think I can safely compare it to falling in love. As a result, I fall in love with OEES every year. During the sixth edition, we will generate it with GeneRation, which will further hopefully increase the power of our blue reactor.
