A webinar entitled "Architecture and design of the future - Sinfonia Varsovia" will be held tomorrow, May 14, at 11:00 am. Adrian Kozikowski, an architect working at Atelier Thomas Pucher in Graz, which won the competition to design the concert hall, will talk about the details of the concept. After a long search, the architect for the design of the future headquarters of Sinfonia Varsovia has been reached. In 2010, an international two-stage architectural competition for the design of a new concert hall and architectural development of the property at 272 Grochowska Street in Warsaw was settled. The jury of the competition chose the work by Atelier Thomas Pucher from Graz as the best.
It's a cekawa project, in which an integral part will be spectacular rows of seats for listeners, "suspended" more than 3 meters above the ground. Their structure will wind around the hall like a ribbon. The orchestra will be perfectly visible from all seats. Eckhard Kahle of Kahle Acoustics notes that listeners will experience the effect of "being inside the music."
Adrian Kozikowski, who has been working at the Thomas Pucher Atlelier in Graz since 2017, will talk about the design of the new concert hall and the architectural development, including the Music Garden, on behalf of Thomas Pucher.
