What does the so-called crisis shield mean for architects? What are the most important legal regulations resulting from the solutions prepared by the government?
Lawyer Piotr Konopka has compiled for the Małopolska Regional Chamber of Architects of the Republic of Poland a summary of the most important, from the architects' perspective, legal regulations resulting from the introduction of the anti-crisis shield.
Thecrisis shield is a package of government solutions aimed at protecting the country and residents from the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The assumptions of the shield are based on five pillars: protecting jobs and worker security, financing entrepreneurs, health care, strengthening the financial system and public investment.
On the basis of the laws of March 2 and March 31 this year, Piotr Konopka addresses issues that may be relevant to architects in a prepared study. These include: regulations on the organizational aspects of running a design office and practicing the architectural profession in terms of concluding and executing contracts, as well as Social Security exemptions and other forms of financial assistance for the entrepreneur.
