Robert Konieczny and Robert Majkut on what their work is like during the pandemic

29 of April '20

An online meeting "OKK! design - the interior design industry in the age of pandemics" will be held on Thursday, April 30, at 11 am. The guests of the webinar will be Robert Konieczny, owner of KWK Promes office, and Robert Majkut, CEO of Robert Majkut Design. You are welcome!

Due to the prevailing coronavirus epidemic, many architectural studios and offices have switched to home office mode. Industry contacts have been reduced to a minimum, and the uncertain future and the prospect of an economic crisis have raised many concerns in the community. With the industry and designers in mind, who would like to learn how architects are coping in these difficult times, what methods, tools and actions can bring results today, the OKK! agency has planned a series of online meetings, during which industry representatives will exchange experiences and ways to cope with new challenges.

In the first installment of the series, Robert Konieczny and Robert Majkut will talk about what their work looks like now and what works in the era of pandemics. They will share valuable tips, present good practices and forecasts for the future.

The unprecedented situation we now face requires architects and designers to be particularly flexible and creative in their work. After three decades of economic growth and development, we are facing a crisis the likes of which has not been seen in a long time. The virus is infecting not only people, but business as well, freezing design budgets or significantly reducing them. Overnight, the entire interior design and furnishings industry had to adapt to the new reality, reaching for innovative tools, revising strategies and ideas for continuing business. Since we had never faced anything like this before, it was difficult to count on immediate support from authorities, effective tools and ready-made solutions. In addition, forced social distancing resulted in a lack of contact with industry representatives.

Participation in the meeting is free and requires pre-registration on the website.
