Autumn, although cool does not have to be gloomy at all. It is a time when nature endows us with a wealth of colors - from deep reds to oranges, yellows and shades of gold. Plants typical of autumn have a unique charm that can be used to create beautiful arrangements.
Richness of colors
Autumn plants not only delight with their multicolor, but can also survive the first frosts. As a result, our gardens, terraces or balconies will remain beautiful and impressive for most of the autumn-winter season. These include dahlias, sunflowers, Patagonian verbena, ornamental grasses, rosehips, garden amaranth, bellows, as well as ornamental pumpkins. How to use them?

Autumn garden
For example, preparing arrangements in baskets with seasonal cut flowers is an excellent way to create a striking decoration that can reach up to 150 cm in height. Such compositions are ideal for entrances, gardens, terraces or balconies, adding a unique character to spaces. Pay attention to the structure. In the back place ornamental grasses, which will create a background. In the middle you can place dahlias and sunflowers interspersed with calla lily bladderwort and orange star plant. Complete the whole with, for example, maple leaves. In this way you will create an arrangement with varied texture and color.

Smaller compositions
For autumn arrangements in a vase we can use multicolored dahlias, surrounding them with sprigs of rosehips and orange star plant, which will add natural charm. Add fluffy inflorescences of Chinese miscanthus into the empty spaces to give lightness to the composition.

Autumn on the table
You can decorate your table using different varieties of ornamental pumpkins. Combined with small bouquets of dahlias and sunflowers, they will create unique, colorful arrangements. Asters and chrysanthemums combined with sprigs of rowan and multicolored leaves will also be perfect. Let's not forget about charming heather as well. However, let's remember not to use intensely fragrant plants to decorate the table on which we eat. You will get an even more interesting effect by putting lanterns between the flowers, which will beautifully illuminate the space and add coziness.
