This year's installment of the World Expo 2020 in Dubai is slowly coming to a close. The motto of the event, organized for the first time in the Middle East, was "Connecting Minds." Bringing visitors from all over the world the history, culture and creativity of our country, the Polish Pavilion designed by WXCA studio and Swiss studio Bellprat Partner was hailed as the best large pavilion at the Expo!
The award of the Best Large Pavilion was given in the World Expo Awards organized by EXHIBITOR Magazine. Seventeen jurors from around the world recognized the Polish Pavilion as one of the most elegant and sublime - a mature, educational and inspiring experience. A pavilion that does not impose anything on visitors.

The appreciation of our work by the international jury of experts makes us creators extremely happy and proud," says Marta Sekulska-Wronska, an architect from the WXCA studio, co-author of the pavilion. - The story we led with the language of architecture, about Polish creativity inspired by nature, the coexistence of man and nature, our shared responsibility for the planet, the strength of unity in diversity, is an important voice in the global discussion taking place in Dubai, she adds.

As the presenters of the competition ceremony added, the Polish Pavilion was a favorite from the very beginning. The subtle wooden body enveloped by a kinetic sculpture referring to a flock of birds captured in flight, which changes with every gust of wind, symbolizes mobility. The pavilion, as its authors emphasize, motivates the exploration of our country's natural, cultural and intellectual wealth.

(Pavilion) invites you to share a fascination with the wisdom of nature, to learn about the sources of Polish creativity. It inspires and encourages to stop and reflect more deeply on the influence of the individual on the fate of the world and the planet, the power of diversity. It allows us to experience that each of us is part of a community, and that our actions matter," explain the authors of the project.
