Open Eyes Economy Summit 5 was selected as the best among the online congresses held last year in the 9th edition of the MP Power Awards, the event industry's competition that recognizes the best implementations and projects in all its sectors. The event was selected from among 100 submitted events as the best in the Online Congress 2020 category, and we are proud to have been a part of it!
OEES, the cutting-edge International Congress on Value Economics Open Eyes Economy Summit, is the culmination of a year-long effort of the social and economic movement that created it, initiated in 2015 by Professor Jerzy Hausner and Mateusz Zmyślony.
The Congress has consistently strengthened its status as an original and attractive event, and for many even a cult event. It is an interdisciplinary meeting of people thinking responsibly about the socio-economic development of our civilization, open to participants regardless of their age, social, economic or political status," the organizers write about OEES.
Last year, due to the pandemic and the restrictions in place, the organizers decided to hold the congress in a hybrid form - the presenters, some of the speakers and the organizers themselves were present at the ICE Congress Center in Krakow, while the participants could follow the entire event and actively participate in it thanks to an online platform. Architecture & Business has been part of the congress since 2018. Each edition of the event is accompanied by our Festival of Open Architecture Studios (FOPA), during which we invite participants to peek into the nooks and crannies of design offices, get a sneak peek at architects' design methods and discuss architecture and the city. Last year, FOPA was also held online, which allowed us to connect in a virtual space with studios from Gdansk (A2P2 architecture & planning), Warsaw (APA Wojciechowski Architekci) and Copenhagen (Henning Larsen).
The next, 6th edition of the Open Eyes Economy Summit Congress will be held on November 16-17 this year, in the already proven hybrid formula, and in June, thanks to a joint initiative of the City of Lodz and the OEES movement, the first International Congress on Regeneration of Industrial Cities will be held in Lodz, to which we cordially invite you.
