"New normal" - designing experiences in times of crisis

The question of the future, of the "new normal" is still in question. In the face of an ever-uncertain reality, designers are faced with more and more questions. SWPS University has prepared a webinar that will reflect on today's design. Participation in the event is free, just sign up!

How to design when there is no money, no comfort, not enough information?
How to understand people's needs and respond to them?
How not to get used to solutions?
What are the lessons from the analysis of the new reality for people who design services, products?
What COVID-19-related projects are worth taking inspiration from?

All these questions will be answered by Concordia Design consultants. Agnieszka Mróz and Katarzyna Andrzejczyk-Briks.

Agnieszka Mróz - researcher, service designer and consultant. She combines elements of service design methodology with experience in IT, HR and finance. She designs optimal solutions for the organization based on the analysis of current social and economic phenomena affecting user needs. She is involved in process improvement and optimization of organizational performance.

Over the past few years, she has conducted dozens of workshops, trainings and entire processes (including international ones) on customer paths, service design, design thinking and non-formal education. She graduated from the Service Design course at SWPS University and the Customer Intelligence school of the Polish Association of Market and Opinion Researchers, among others, and holds certificates attesting to her knowledge and skills in benzes analysis: IQBBA, REQB. She has worked with the Ikea group, Żabka, Bolsius, among others.

Katarzyna Andrzejczyk-Briks - art historian and educator, lecturer in the history of art and design at the School of Form of SWPS University and Collegium Da Vinci. She observes, analyzes and uses trends to create change in companies and design products, services and experiences tailored to the changing needs and values of users. She supports designers, managers of manufacturing and service companies and representatives of local government units with her knowledge. He teaches how to spot trends, understand their business impact and adapt services to changing customer expectations.

He conducts lectures, trainings, workshops and reports on industry fairs. Develops reports on consumer and design trends. She cooperates as a consultant and creativity thinking trainer with Concordia Design in Poznań. She writes about design, architecture and trends for: "Newsweek Living", "Newsweek Health" and "Slow", as well as for "Design Alive" magazine. She is co-owner of Briks Architects Studio. She is interested in design, interior architecture, trends, and education.

Katarzyna Januszkiewicz, PhD - Professor at SWPS University. Psychologist and specialist in organization and management. She conducts research within the sub-discipline of organizational behavior, including in the area of changing people's behavior in organizations (behavioral flexibility, career paradigm change, diversity in the workplace) and research methodology of social aspects of management (professionalization of research methods and techniques). Author of more than 50 scientific publications, including monographs: "Flexibility of Organizational Behavior. Concept and Research Methodology and Professional Development of the Employee. Opportunities and Threats".

She has completed three scientific internships (Cracow University of Economics, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Novosibirsk State University, Novosibirsk) and carried out scientific research trips and study visits to foreign centers (including University of Oxford, Universidad de Barcelona, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Universität Wien). She has received numerous awards for her scientific activities and work for the development of the university and teaching.
