White walls, white curtains, white accessories and even white floors. How to create an interesting and cozy interior with such a narrow repertoire of colors? Magdalena Kwoczka of Finchstudio managed to do it, who, operating with just a few colors in the interior design project of a house in Wroclaw, created an extremely warm and friendly space in a boho climate - Let's have a vacation!

Ola Kloc: What was the priority for the investors?
Magdalena Kwoczka: When the owners asked me to prepare the interior design, they had specific requirements. They wanted bright spaces with accents in the form of wooden furniture and natural decorations in shades of beige and brown. They wanted an interior that would transport them to a vacation, and they also drew a lot of inspiration from their travels around the world.
Ola: The interior is undeniably dominated by white - how do you ensure that the interior is not monotonous by betting on one color?
Magdalena: First of all, you should plan such an interior well and think about accents. These can be plants, an interesting wall lamp, a bio-fireplace or a table made of natural wood. Not in large quantities, but a few balanced flavors. To ensure that a monochromatic interior is not boring, it is also important to vary the structures, a rough wall, satin floor, a fleshy weave of upholstery fabric, downy pillows - all in white, and it looks different due to the light falling on these items.

Ola: My attention was also drawn to the white staircase with a raw wooden balustrade and the very light floor. For practical reasons, we more often opt for dark floor finishes, what are the benefits of choosing light floors?
Magdalena Kwoczka: On dark floors you will also see everything :) There is no golden mean in my opinion - these are compromises, in this case the clients put aesthetics over practical considerations, and frankly speaking, I like such an uncompromising approach. Here the white floor beautifully conquered the color of the natural wooden furniture - table, chairs, armchairs. In this particular case, it worked to the advantage of the interior.

Ola: The house is filled with natural materials - light wood, wicker accessories and soft fabrics. What influenced such a choice of materials and textures?
Magdalena: The choice of accessories was dictated by the style we wanted - the style of vacation homes in Greece, Mexico, Tunisia, where accessible, local materials are used, creating timeless, beautifully aged interiors.

Ola: What was the most difficult part of this project, and what are you most satisfied with?
Magdalena: I think the hardest part was just finding the right, perfect accessories to create this interior. We spent a lot of time looking for original lamps or armchairs. The clients had very specific expectations and were very demanding about the look, the quality of the materials. We had minor and major problems along the way, but that's usually the way it goes in the implementation process. Fortunately, we managed to complete the project, the results of which, as a designer, I am very pleased with.
Ola: Thank you for the interview!
