On Sunday, July 23, 2023, the 4th Mountain Run for the Golden Fern of the President of the JONIEC® Company was held in Tymbark.
The run was attended by 101 participants. The competition took place over two distances: 7km and 21km (half marathon). The run also included competitors with dogs, for which a separate category was provided for the distance of 7 km. There was a great atmosphere at the start and along the entire picturesque route of the run, a warm atmosphere in the spirit of competition and shared fun.
Professional time measurement was supervised by the Pif Sport company.
Competitors at the start and finish line could count on the support of our special guest Rafal Bielawa - an ultramarathoner who won the title of GSB record holder, who handed out commemorative medals to the competitors at the finish line and congratulated them on completing the run.
After completing the run, the contestants walked to the Competition Office at the sports hall in Tymbark, where a warm meal awaited them.
At 6 pm the panel with our guest Rafal Bielawa began. The athlete introduced the contestants to his running passion and answered numerous questions, establishing a great rapport with the runners.
After the meeting with Rafal, the official summary and decoration of the winners of the run took place.
