Most of us have even occupied our apartments for the past two months. Slowly our homes are regaining their original function and purpose. During this time, they have been centers of all kinds of activities that we normally need several other places - a gym, a bookstore, a coffee shop - to fulfill. Thursday's meeting with Projector at Home is the last in the series. We say goodbye with dignity - to Frank Lloyd Wright and Le Corbusier, among others.
This is the end! Welcome to our last film meeting in the PROJECTOR at Home series. This spring has changed everything, our homes have become the center of our universe - the place of our work and study, the arena of sports struggles, the training ground of culinary experiences or.... cinema. That's why we couldn't end this series any other way than with a meeting under the theme of HOME. We will watch together 3 films about houses designed by different architects, in different corners of the world, at different moments in history. We'll start with a documentary about the homes of prominent American architect Frank Lloyd Wright - creator of the "open plan" idea, then we'll explore the pope of architecture's favorite home - a summer bungalow on the French Riviera by Le Corbusier, and we'll end the evening in China - where 24 award-winning contemporary architects from around the world designed their dream homes for the Stifang Museum.
Be with us on Thursday at 9pm at our cinema in your home. We look forward to your insights, photos and comments at the event! We will provide a link to the films one hour before the event begins.
