Like most festivals, Gdynia Design Days will also take place online. However, nothing is lost - all you have to do is log on to the website and join other participants. Among other things, the organizers are planning workshops, discussions and lectures. This year the festival's motto is #attention, which is expected to draw our attention to the pressing problems of today.
A unique online edition of Gdynia Design Days, created especially for the crisis, will be launched on July 4. Although we won't see you in Gdynia this year, check in on the GDD platform and take part in the festival. You will find a decent dose of inspiration, a sea of substantive knowledge and join the GDD community.

In order to continue the global discussion under this year's festival slogan #attention, the organizers have decided to redesign GDD and move the events online. Between July 4 and 11, users will be able to attend, among other things, lectures, discussions and workshops, all thanks to a dedicated GDD platform. Check in and become part of the festival community. You'll meet workshop leaders, curators, speakers, as well as the entire GDD team and other attendees. This year's program includes the best of the best:
- GDD stage - this is where you can listen to the most pressing problems of today,
- GDD workshops, where participants will learn tools to increase competence,
- Design talks Business stage, a space filled with inspirational presentations and valuable case studies from the business world,
- Design talks Business workshop, during which participants will learn a sea of practical tools and methods to apply in their organizations.
Participation in the unique online edition of GDD, DtB Summit and DtB First Steps is completely free. To attend the lectures, simply join the GDD platform. Additional registrations apply for the workshops due to the limited number of seats. Registration for the business part of the DtB Summit and DtB First Steps started on June 8. Registration for the remaining workshops will be launched on June 15.
GDD guide
Each year, especially for Gdynia Design Days, we create curatorial exhibitions that are an interpretation of the edition's slogan and look at issues related to it from different perspectives. Thanks to the decision to move entirely to the online environment, the organizers will be able to present the exhibitions in the form of an interactive GDD guide. They have invited 8 curators who will present issues related to the GDD 2020 slogan NOTE. Premiering all the content of the GDD guide will be made public on the festival's launch day, July 4. This overview of products, services and prototypes will be a great place to find the best solutions and design with the highest standards.
