On October 23 this year, as part of the international event "Share Talks Kraków 2019" , the Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Academy in Cracow held an open lecture in the series entitled "Junior Share" for students (and not only).
Hosted by the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts Krzysztof Ingarden, the meeting featured two architects involved in modern, experimental and parametric design. The first speaker was Anouk Legendre of XTU studio from France. Her firm focuses on scientific and academic research, using parametric architecture and biotechnology. She works on innovative projects that can halt climate change through new ways of building and introducing vegetation into cities (algae, farms, green roofs).

The second speaker was Gideon Maasland, director of the Dutch MVRDV. The office focuses on working methodologies, experiments and, above all, parametric architecture and programming. Importantly, MVRDV is a huge international team, with Poles being the second largest nationality. Maasland praised the Polish students and said that today the most important skill for an architect is knowledge of programs such as Grasshopper and Rhino.

Both speeches were mainly aimed at architecture students, encouraging them to look wider, to combine different disciplines and not to give up on their goal despite occasional setbacks.
