Like many other museums and cultural centers, Poznan Castle CK also put a lot of effort into showing its collections and exhibitions to a wider audience spending this time at home. The range of attractions is really rich, and it is worth diving into this world of art. The program includes Frida Kahlo, Édouard Manet, as well as online cinema. Get a comfortable seat and... watch!
In anticipation of returning to the Castle walls, we encourage you to take advantage of our multimedia resources. On the You Tube channel you will find, among other things, recordings of debates and meetings, on the zamekczyta.pl portal - reports on the literary activity of CK ZAMEK (new texts are appearing!), on the website (bookmark: our publications) you can browse through the castle's catalogs, brochures and folders.
Virtual exhibitions
We have already prepared virtual tours of the exhibitions during the epidemic: "Unknown Impressionism. Manet, Pisarro and Their Contemporaries" and "Master of Illustration: Janusz Grabiański". You can also return online at any time to the exhibition "Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. Polish Context".
Online cinema
Online classes continue in the castle studios for enrolled participants. We share and recommend films on the OFF CINEMA festival's Facebook page. In May, we are planning another installment of the Online Short Cinema Club, which was very popular in April.
Center for Educational Practices
In May, we will launch the blog of the Center for Educational Practices - a space to showcase social and educational activities with culture as the common denominator. We want to: showcase ventures in which communities, play a prominent role, talk about activities aimed at increasing empathy and respect for diversity, show what cultural sector research can yield, talk to people who make culture socially useful.
Phone Guide
Thanks to support from the Very Young Culture program, we are launching the Telephone Guide - telephone duty of experts offering consultation for teachers, educators, animators and activists who need advice, including how to cope with stress during a pandemic, how to work and support students in remote learning and situations of uncertainty.
Open Ticket
We encourage you to follow CK ZAMEK's Facebook profile, where we will be posting recommendations and ideas from the castle team on how to spend your time within the four walls. We have also launched the "Open Ticket" campaign . Right now you can buy a ticket for a screening at the Palace Cinema (12 PLN) or for other CK ZAMEK events (20 PLN) and receive gifts (a ticket to visit the renovated interiors of the Castle with a guide or a set of pf Photo Gallery catalogs) to be used after the state of epidemics ends and the doors to CK ZAMEK open.
