Family kingdom - interior of the house designed by razoo-architects

11 of May '20

In this house, everyone has their own kingdom. For the lady of the house it's the kitchen connected to the living room and dining room, for the master of the house it's a room above the garage, and for the two children it's rooms with secret passageways, swings, hiding places and trampolines. The kingdom of each householder is designed to meet their needs and desires, so that they feel their best here.

The first floor of the house is the living zone, which consists of a living room connected to the kitchen, a toilet and a study, as well as a guest module with a bathroom. The first floor is the private zone - here are the children's bedrooms with a bathroom, and the parents' room with a dressing room and bathroom. In addition, there is also a room in a separate building above the garage - the already mentioned kingdom of the master of the house.
In creating this interior {tag:Studio} were inspired by the combination of wood and concrete. This can be clearly seen in the living area of the house - the kitchen with its concrete ceiling, wall and floor pieces was juxtaposed with the warmth of the wooden planks of the kitchen furniture. Glazed elements of the cabinets add lightness to these materials and give the impression of space.

From the living room you can go to the rest of the house through an "invisible" door - in the full wall the architects hid a pivot door, so as not to disturb the room's design too much. Behind this "secret" passage is the guest space. The main part of the house - the dining room with living room, was designed in subdued colors. The interior is warmed by a wooden panel going from the wall to the ceiling and furniture maintained mainly in light colors.

In the parents' bedroom, the designers opted for a distinctive floral motif, present in both the bedroom and the adjacent bathroom. The rooms are not separated by doors, hence it was designed as a suite. The various zones - dressing room, sleeping area and bathing room - intermingle. The floor is largely covered with wooden planks, except in the bathroom area. The toilet bowl and bidet are separated by glass walls. A combination of gray concrete and brown wood is also the basis in these rooms. This color scheme is complemented by accessories - orange armchairs and potted plants.

The inspiration came from the story of Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland"

The architects faced the challenge of creating perfect rooms for two girls. The inspiration came from the story of "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll. Caches, secret passages, landings and suspensions. You don't need to drink magic potions and potions - everything was perfectly adjusted to the size of the children's rooms inhabiting it. You can enter an alcove in the closet and onto a platform, and pull out a bed from a drawer. In the next room, you can climb up a string ladder, onto a suspended net with pillows and hover from the ceiling. All this wrapped in pastel colors - pink and blue

The designers came up with an interesting idea to create two separate rooms - a quiet zone, which are connected by a common play space. You can enter it using a revolving door hidden in the wall or a tiny opening - straight from "Alice in Wonderland".
