Pink, raspberry, but above all comfortable. On the one hand, they may bring to mind Józef Chierowski's Armchair 366, on the other, the thin steel legs are associated with a school chair. Like the 366 armchair (whoever sat in it knows), the Gap armchair is distinguished above all by its comfort. As for the legs - they serve to relieve the form of the furniture rather than mentally calling to the blackboard.
The Gap furniture collection, designed by the Design Society (Jerzy Porębski and Grzegorz Niwiński), is distinguished by its interesting and cozy form that invites us to relax. The modern and elegant silhouette is complemented by the soft lines of the armrests with a Scandinavian spirit. The seats are characterized by an unusual design that separates the backrest with armrest from the seat. The resulting, between the upper and lower parts, gap - the eponymous Gap - makes the armchairs and sofa supported on thin, shapely legs, gain lightness.
The armchairs come in two heights. The taller model - the XL - has a separate headrest for comfortable head positioning. This element is neatly overhung by the top of the backrest thanks to a metal weight.
With relatively small dimensions, Gap furniture is comfortable and at the same time discreet. Armchairs and sofas can be used to arrange large, open public and office spaces, as well as fill the interior of houses and apartments.
The collection was awarded with the must have sign in 2019, as well as TOP DESIGN award 2019.
