Waclaw Jaciow, the architect responsible for, among other things, the design of the Tychy Little Theater and the complex of holiday districts in Wisla Partecznik, and co-author of the buildings of the City Hall and the Music School Complex in Tychy, has passed away at the age of 90.
Waclaw Jaciow was born on September 18, 1929 in the village of Libusza near Gorlice. From 1949 to 1953 he studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology, then worked at the Municipal Design Office in Cracow. In the second half of the 1950s, he moved to Tychy, where he started working at the Miastoprojekt Nowe Tychy Design Office. During his many years at the Tychy office, he was the author and co-author of numerous projects of urban assumptions and architectural structures.

Waclaw Jaciow was the author of some of the most distinctive buildings in the city of Tychy, including the Small The ater, and co-author of the buildings of the City Hall, the Music School Complex (formerly the House of Social Organizations) and the E2 Estate. In addition, the architect created a complex of holiday districts in Vistula Partecznik, Jarzębata and Bukowa. Throughout the years, the architect was a friend of the Tychy City Museum.
