functional and spatial priorities
The priority for the architects was to propose a multifunctional spacethat can function in the immediate vicinity of a heavily traveled road and will be the basis for establishing cultural activation, creating opportunities for the integration of residents and restoring the function of catering and service establishments in the area.

The above assumptions were an indication for the design of such spatial elements as:
- element A - reinforced concrete arcades,
- elementB - a reinforced concrete wall with backlighting, a projection screen for outdoor events, and a bulletin board and historical education area,
- elementC - reinforced concrete grandstands clad with natural wood-colored composite board for spectators and users of the stage (terrace) and screen,
- elementD - sculpture "Wings of Art" on a pedestal of flamed granite,
- ElementE - prefabricated reinforced concrete benches,
- elementF - cafeteria pavilion,
- other infrastructure elements are also prefabricated reinforced concrete rollers, obstacle elements, skatepark steel pipes, bicycle racks, lighting poles and park trash garbage cans.
In front of the adjacent wall, a screen of tarpaulin on a steel grid was also designed for mural-style drawings.
Reinforced concrete arcade and cafe pavilion
Two of the most important parts of the square are the separation from Kosciuszko Street in the form of reinforced concrete arcades with architectural backlighting and the café pavilion. The inspiration for the creation of the reinforced concrete arcades was to maintain the continuation of the frontage in the nature of eclectic arches as a reference to the original buildings that were located on the project plot. Due to the height of the neighboring buildings, the line was adjusted and supplemented, adapting to its cornice and ridge height. The arches were taken from the façade of the neighboring building - formerly a hotel with a distinctive turret on top of the roof, which has not survived to the present day.

The planned urban information center was created in the form of the "Education Stop" cafe. The designed glazed pavilion in steel-frame construction allows a view of the courtyard. In addition to catering services, the café's program includes an information point called "Entrepreneurial Vielen", which, in addition to promoting the city, history and culture, is intended to help develop one's own initiatives. The courtyard with a terrace allows for socio-cultural activities.
idea, difficult place and implementation
The biggest challenge in preparing the project was to come up with the functions, activities and to match them with an architectural language, so that a decorated and empty place was not created. The big drawback of this part of Wielen is the noisy and busy T. Kosciuszko Street. In addition to the arcade, an expedited decision to implement a cafe pavilion came to the aid of the architects.

Due to the need to meet technical requirements, photovoltaic cells appeared on the roof and, in addition, to reduce heat production in the area, a green roof was designed. Greenery in mobile pots has been proposed, but their implementation will be agreed upon during the operation of the building. As the architects conclude - the challenge will certainly be to maintain the rigor of the designed materials, colors and textures at the stage of implementation of the project, which is what we wish for the investor and ourselves.
