The designed premise includes: the city market, the New Town market plate, and the reconstruction of communications for the purpose of connection with the next stage of the investment - boulevards on the Noteć River. Of great importance was the task of continuing the economic, social and cultural influence of the market - a place for the local community, as the community has been gathering at the site since the mid-17th century. The basic assumption of the project was to create a universal space with reference to the history of urban planning of the city, encouraging representatives of all age groups to spend their free time there. It was also important to design a multifunctional place: recreational, commercial, walking and public activities: festivals, festivals and local cultural and historical events, as well as to create a point connecting various points on the city map. From the point of view of urban composition, it was important to preserve and emphasize view axes and pedestrian routes.

Building of a center for design, creation and research of products and services, created for companies in the creative industry. An important design consideration was to shape the front elevation so as to direct attention to what is happening inside the building. This is served by large glazing framed by the simple geometric form of a black frame. The building is the backdrop for the prototyping process visible from the outside [...]. The building consists of three floors above ground, which correspond to the different stages of prototype development, and an underground garage hall.
Multi-family residential building

In the design assumption, an important element in thinking about the massing was to match the existing building, which has a rather flared facade and an asymmetrical gable roof. Our premise was therefore to create a steep roof broken by modern dormers. This combination of traditional roof and modern facade elements created a dialogue with the existing building. Thanks to this procedure, the building also changes with the angle of observation, and its view becomes non-obvious.
House
The most votes, 205 in the House category, went to the House between the birches by TEŻ ARCHITEKCI (Malgorzata Siekanko, Paulina Wielgosz-Konewka, Marta Sękowska).

[...] The clients told us, however, that they most like to sit in the middle of the plot, where the trees form a characteristic, unclosed circle; in the clearing between the birch trees. And so the idea was born for the new building to enclose the clearing, while opening up to it in such a way that the residents of the future house could continue to feast among the birch trees. The building is partly designed as a one-story and partly as a two-story, covered with a gabled roof. Its height varies depending on its function and location on the plot.
Private interior
The winner of the private interior category, is DOM ROZCIĘTY | Dom POZ_4 by PL. architects (Bartłomiej Bajon, Katarzyna Cynka-Bajon, team: Agnieszka Jurenko, Monika Kuszyńska), which received 70 votes.

The body of the house was cut with a 2.5-meter-wide skylight running the entire length, which illuminates both the first floor and first floor throughout the day while maintaining the desired intimacy. The house, despite being open with windows mainly to the north, is full of light. The skylight also formally divides the first floor into a parent's area and a children's area accessible via a footbridge. Such an opening also facilitates communication between household members located on different levels.
Public interior
TheOFF-HAIR living room by EGO-STUDIO (Ewa Gawroniak-Olejniczak) triumphed in the Public Interior category with 267 votes.

The industrial interior was divided into three zones. The café/waiting room was located in a container added to the front, the main studio in the central part with characteristic skylights providing natural light and the washer room, in the last an intimate space allowing to relax during hair care. In the center of the salon at the powerful oak countertop we placed the dye room.

The 3,670 sqm property includes two twin, four-story buildings. The first (P1), with an area of 446 sqm, consists of eight independent apartments. The second (P2), with a floor area of 565 sqm, houses seven apartments and has additional underground parking. Each apartment is equipped with a kitchen with dining area, bedroom and living room. The investors' assumptions aimed for high-quality aesthetic and material qualities. An additional requirement was to adapt the facilities for maintenance-free operation. The traditional reception desk was abandoned here in favor of a reservation and entry system based on full online service. Underlying the architectural concept, design and finishing of the guesthouses is the historical architecture of wooden mountain chalets and houses of the Krkonoše Mountains from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
