Dywilan is a Polish company, with a weaving tradition dating back to the 18th century and drawing on that history for more than 20 years. Today, it is a fashionable carpet brand, boasting its own design studio, consistency and love of creating in wool. Dywilan, like wool, is a guarantee of quality and class that does not pass away. Just as New Zealand wool is synonymous with luxury, so is Dywilan wool carpet.
How do oriental carpets differ from those produced in the oriental style? The origin, of course. Persian, Turkish or Pakistani carpets come from the countries corresponding to their name. They are usually made of natural wool and silk. They are woven by hand and each is created according to patterns specific to the region. They also vary in price...
Faces of dywilans
Dywilan has always been famous for its classics. We appreciate the incredible power of Far Eastern designs. It inspires and impels us. In the latest collection, we have expanded their offer with further proposals. Classic Persian rugs like Piena are an example of oriental very rich patterns. With the highest density of SUPERIOR quality weaving, the drawing reflects the detail and intricacy of handmade masterpieces. While a single knot of fine yarn allows weavers to "draw" the finest elements of Persian carpets, it is the densely woven and carefully sheared yarn and the artistry of the plastic artists' drawing that allows us to compete with them.

It's not just the drawing, but also the color intensity of the SUPERIOR collection that makes it strong. The carpet, with a density of almost a million points, has perfectly perpendicular wool fibers, and thus the most intense of their colors. This is because the coloration is visible exactly in cross-section.
The characteristic beauty of burgundy or emerald coloration of wool, definitely better brings out a carpet with a dense short-cut pile. SUPERIOR civilians are characterized by a velvety sheen. This makes them more noble and elegant. Katra velvet red charms with just such an impression.

For years, the greatest strength of Dywilans has been color. Only high-quality yarn with selected colors will create an exceptional carpet. Harun navy delights with the depth of burgundy juxtaposed with an almost velvety stain of navy blue. A graphic patina glow weaves through the intricate drawing. We constantly care about the quality of the wool in our products. Each shipment of yarn is carefully evaluated and corrected if it requires it. We cannot afford to let Dywilan's famous burgundies lose their power. We are recognizable thanks to them, our carpets cannot be mistaken for the proposals of our competitors, and we strongly bet on this uniqueness.

Dywilan's design palette is a predominance of oriental style also in modern versions. We draw from the sources of cobierism and continue to rediscover them. For several years we have been deliberately aging our carpets with the help of design treatments. We cover them with the patina of time to give the impression of antique, hand knotted carpets. We were the first in the country in this kind of treatment. Our best designs like Samarkand are still mistaken for antiques. Only carpet connoisseurs, upon touching them, can recognize the technology in which Mistik was stamped.

We are a bold design studio. We are not afraid of uncompromising solutions and still try to surprise. This season the real design firecracker was Latica. A classic Persian, but scaled-down drawing, in a very modern layout: without a border, as an open, asymmetrical composition. It turns out that this carpet has been appreciated by interior designers, so we followed suit. We enriched the catalog with a round variant of the Latica carpet.
