Immerfob preparations are produced on the basis of silanes and siloxanes. They have the form of a colorless liquid, which after application does not change the appearance of the protected surface and does not form a coating. The surface of the protected material exhibits hydrophobic properties, that is, it gains the ability to repel water. Thus, Immerfob hydrophobizers effectively reduce water absorption, limit the penetration of dust, dirt and de-icing agents, reduce the risk of frost damage, limit the growth of algae and moss. As a result, surfaces retain their aesthetic appearance for longer and their durability is extended. Hydrophobic preparations do not inhibit the diffusion of water vapor. They can be successfully used both indoors and outdoors.

Depending on the type of surface to be protected and its location, we have a choice of surface-active or surface-structural preparations. The latter will definitely work well for impregnating concrete horizontal surfaces where pedestrian or vehicular traffic takes place, such as stairs, sidewalks, driveways. Thanks to the penetration of the preparation into the substrate, the protection is not abraded and lasts longer. In addition to preparations that do not change the appearance of the protected surface, there are also preparations through which we can highlight the color or get the effect of wet concrete or brick. Performing protection with Immerfob preparations is easy and does not require specialized skills or equipment. Apply the product to the previously cleaned surface with a brush, roller or spray, in two coats, 10 to 15 minutes apart. After drying, the surface remains unchanged. The treatment should be repeated every few years. The effectiveness and durability of the protection depends largely on the type and properties of the substrate, but also on the concentration of active substances of the selected agent.
