Sterylis PURE AIR - protection against viruses confirmed by scientific studies
MILOO-ELECTRONICS sp. z o.o. - a Polish manufacturer of electronics, LED lighting and air disinfection systems, has unveiled a new line of Sterylis series devices that use medical technology to fight coronavirus and other pathogens. Providing continuous and safe air disinfection in closed spaces, the PURE AIR model was developed for homes and apartments, as well as office spaces and conference rooms.

Great efficiency and modern design
Sterylis PURE AIR devices are characterized by a modern, minimalist design, ease of use and effectiveness confirmed by the scientific community of the Jagiellonian University. The technology used in them was tested in the covid wards of hospitals in Bochnia and Krakow. The air, the filters of the devices and the masks and surroundings of the patients were analyzed in detail. Samples were taken before and after UV-C disinfection. The results confirmed that Sterylis effectively destroys the SARS-CoV-2 virus. It also provides protection against other pathogens, such as bacteria, fungi, molds, protozoa and mites.

Application
Sterylis PURE AIR subjects the air to HEPA standard filtration and disinfects with UV-C rays with the most effective wavelength in the fight against microorganisms - 254 nanometers. It can work continuously and is completely safe for the occupants. Thanks to the so-called light traps, UV-C radiation works exclusively within the disinfection chamber of the device
UV-C technology makes it possible to destroy coronavirus in aerosols, i.e. air containing its particles emitted when speaking or simply breathing, says Bartosz Mazurek of MILOO-ELECTRONICS. - The World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have identified aerosols as the main route of infection with this pathogen.

Perfectly designed
The Sterylis PURE AIR is characterized by its compact dimensions and low noise level, which in "UV-C Comfort" mode does not exceed 37 dB(A). The device monitors the operation of all components and automatically informs, for example, about the need to replace HEPA filters. The service life of the lamps used in it is 9000 hours.
Sterylis PURE AIR is a product designed and manufactured exclusively in Poland. It has been recognized by the design community - it is a finalist in the Good Design 2021 competition organized by the Institute of Industrial Design.
