Modern and safe elevators for residential and commercial buildings

Modern and safe elevators for residential and commercial buildings

Founded in 1958, GMV is the largest global manufacturer of hydraulic drives for cranes (elevators). More than 750,000 GMV-powered cranes are in operation worldwide, and tens of thousands of new ones are delivered each year. In recent years, the company has launched new generations of hydraulic and electric lift drives.

GMV HYDRAULIC CRANES

By design, hydraulic cranes can be driven by:

  • direct (1:1) - the actuator drives the cabin frame directly

  • indirect (2:1) - the actuator acts on the cabin frame, via a pulley and ropes.

Direct drive is used in cranes with lower lifting heights and higher lifting capacities. The drive unit contains a working fluid unit, in which the motor and a coupled pump are immersed. The principle of operation of a hydraulically powered crane is simple. The cabin moves upward thanks to an actuator set in motion by the working fluid pumped under pressure. The downward movement of the cabin is carried out by gravity, without the consumption of electricity by the motor, and the fluid returns again to the tank. The precise movement of the cabin in both directions is supervised by an electronically controlled valve unit. The shafts of hydraulic cranes are characterized by extremely small dimensions in relation to the cabin, lightweight wall construction, as the forces are mainly concentrated at the bottom of the shaft and do not require expansion joints. This allows optimum use of space and increases the usable / habitable area in the building. The placement of the drive unit outside the shaft contributes to extremely low noise levels, which is why hydraulic cranes are especially recommended for residential buildings. In addition, hydraulic cranes are famous for their long service life (20 or more years), as they have an uncomplicated structure and a small number of moving parts. For this reason, operating costs are extremely low.

GREEN LIFT HYDRAULIC LIFTS - FLUITRONIC GLF

GREEN LIFT are standard type-tested hydraulic lifts. The name FLUITRONIC emphasizes the use of the latest generation drive with microprocessor control. They are equipped with a state-of-the-art NGV proportional valve block unit, which provides a very high level of cabin ride comfort. The accuracy of stopping at the threshold at the stop is 3 mm. GREEN LIFT crane cabs , are modular structures with one or two entrances. The interior can be freely arranged using a wide range of flooring and cabin wall panels: laminated or steel.

GREEN LIFT GLT ELECTRIC CRANES

For higher lifting heights (from 17 to 35 m), GMV recommends European type-tested electric cranes with lifting capacities from 350 to 1,000 kg with a gearless drive unit with VVVF frequency control. Driving speeds of up to 1 m/s, very high driving comfort, low noise emissions and precise stopping of the cabin at the stop are assured. In the event of a power failure, the UPS-assisted control (230 V - battery group) will enable the crane to reach the nearest stop and open the door, and passengers will be able to freely exit the cabin. The drive unit is attached to the top of the guides that transfer the load to the bottom of the shaft. This makes the shaft a lighter and less expensive design.

HOME LIFT® HYDRAULIC ELEVATORS - 2006/42/EC

Elevators called Home Lift meet the requirements of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. Unlike other equipment available on the market, they retain the features of passenger lifts: automatic access to the assigned stop and automatic cabin and shaft doors. Speed, as required by the directive, does not exceed 0.15 m/s. Lifting capacity from 250 to 400 kg (3-5 persons). They are designed for low-traffic buildings and private homes.
GMV has been in existence for 60 years. A wide range of products provides freedom to choose the right solution for the designed building.
