Tomorrow, on February 15, we invite you to an unusual event - the opening of a new lively point on the map of Krakow. In an atmosphere of creative discussion, the IDEA Stop will begin its activities.
Przystanek IDEA will be a space open to grassroots initiatives of all those who want to positively influence the life of the city. The aim of the Stop is to create a real, living community - an active environment of people who are genuinely engaged.
What's more, the IDEA Stop is an Open Eyes Friendly #OEES venue managed by the GAP Artistic Agency in cooperation with Tytano and ZetPeTe.
opening program
17:00 discussion
The artist in the world of action - action in the world of the artist. Can an artist be indifferent?
This is a discussion with the participation of students of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. We will find out what is the approach of young artists to their own work and rethink categories such as high art and mass culture. We will try to answer the question of what influence the artist has on reality and how reality influences the creative process.
The talk will be moderated by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education, Prof. of the Academy of Fine Arts Dr. Jan Tutaj.
18:00 opening of the exhibition WYczulenie
This is an exhibition of works by students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. The organizers wanted to show the influence that the artist and the surrounding reality have on each other. Art is understood here as a form of responsibility - not only artistic, but also social.
The exhibition is curated by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education, Prof. of the Academy of Fine Arts, Dr. Jan Tutaj. The exhibition is organized by the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, the GAP Artistic Agency and the ZetPeTE club.
The exhibition will be on display from 14-26.02.2020 in the White Gallery above the ZetPeTe Club at 10 Dolnych Młynów Street.
18:30 discussion
"Gentrification, or how to give space a second life".
