This Wednesday, March 4, the Warsaw Architecture Pavilion ZODIAK will host another meeting in the series "Architects of the Warsaw Branch of SARP". This time, representatives of the Warsaw-based 22ARCHITEKCI studio, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, will talk about their work.
The 22ARCHITEKCI studio is an architectural and urbanplanning office run by five partners - Wojciech Conder, Aleksander Drzewiecki, Maciej Kowalczyk, Michał Tatjewski and Aleksandra Zubelewicz. Their projects, including the Nowy Nikiszowiec housing development in Katowice and the educational pavilion on the main campus of Warsaw University, have won awards in many architectural competitions. In their view, true quality, durability and beauty in architecture result from respect for context, simplicity of form, attention to detail, as well as the logic of the solutions adopted.
At the meeting, according to the organizers, you will learn, among other things: when is it worth putting on a hat and when not? What is a soft cost for investors? Who succumbs to the magic of optimization? What is the technique of unconscious bluff in negotiations? What is the nightmare of participation? And why is it worth doing contests, even when you don't win them?
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Registration and participation in the event are free.
