The premiere of the Silestone Urban Crush collection, the latest offering from Cosentino, the world's leading manufacturer of Silestone mineral surfaces, Dekton quartz sinters and natural stones, was the starting point for exploring city life, its images, reflections and traces. On May 10, 2023, on the 30th floor of the KTW office building dominating the urban fabric of Katowice, visitors could feel the atmosphere of great metropolises, the accompanying bustle, glare of lights and jazz oozing through the artistic districts of New York, Paris and London. All this accompanied by Silestone records of great stature and Przemo Lukasik, special guest of the Cosentino evening.

International metropolises - Paris, Berlin and New York - are associated not only with picturesque corners, charming cafes or urban bustle, but also with a particular color scheme; gray concrete and the distinctive look of buildings. It was contemporary architecture that inspired Cosentino to create Silestone Urban Crush and invite guests to the launch of the collection to Katowice's KTW, an office building designed by the Medusa Group studio, led by Przemo Lukasik and Lukasz Zagala. The choice of such a special location was not accidental, as it reflected the cosmopolitan aspirations and industrial atmosphere accompanying the creation of the collection. Like the lumps of the world's skyscrapers and the KTW building, which looks different at any time of the day, the colors of Urban Crush also change and synchronize with the urban environment, distinguishing or imitating it.

Vernissage of Przemo Lukasik
The premiere of the latest Cosentino Silestone collection brought together in Katowice 150 representatives of Silesian architectural studios, kitchen studios and stonemasonry studios, who have been working with Cosentino products for years. The guests were welcomed by Ewa Trzcionka, who then gave the floor to Lukasz Warzybok, General Manager of Cosentino Katowice. Karolina Sieniawska, Cosentino's Marketing Coordinator, talked about the inspirations behind the creation of the collection and the environmentally friendly HybriQ+ production technology, which allows us to enjoy the nature and energy of modern cities. The highlight of the evening was the vernissage of works by special guest Przemo Lukasik, architect and co-founder of Medusa Group. The photographic story from the farthest corners of the globe was accompanied by Przemo Lukasik's personal reflections on aesthetics, workshop, choice of subjects and philosophy of photography and architecture.

The patterns of the Silestone Urban Crush collection presented at the meeting; structural shades of beige Lime Delight, industrial vibes of Concrete Pulse, grainy browns of Brass Relish and the loft vibe of Cinder Craze, referring to limestone and sandstone, were inspired by textures characteristic of global metropolises. The decors aroused considerable interest, awakening the spirit of creativity among the guests, and a hypnotic concert by Karolina Leszko, accompanied by a pianist, which crowned the meeting, completed the full experience of the evening.
The modern urban vibe of the Silestone Urban Crush collection, designed for bathroom and kitchen spaces, floors, countertops and walls, can already be transferred to your home or interior design.
