The end of 2021 is particularly important for Grenton. The last week starting with participation in the Polish-Arab Forum in Dubai was crowned, organized in the Polish Pavilion at EXPO 2020, with a unique Grenton Day event.
GrentonDay, organized on December 9, was held thanks to the support of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency - PAIH and the Polish Pavilion team at Expo 2020 in Dubai. The main theme of the Grenton Day was development trends in the areas of smart home, smart city and smart living supporting the implementation of regional infrastructure strategies, in particular the housing development strategy. The meeting discussed how the Grenton Smart Home System addresses the needs of the local market, including:
- managing the energy balance of the home,
- optimizing household water consumption,
- ensuring the daily comfort of homeowners,
- managing household waste.
Grenton's partners Al-Alameya Group from Saudi Arabia, Smart Tech for Devices from Kuwait, Chain4Energy from Poland and Skey Network from Estonia also actively participated in this event, as well as invited experts.

The beginnings were not easy, and the decision to enter the Middle East market, made in late 2018, was not obvious at the time. Participation in the 2018 Gitex trade fair in Dubai and the solutions presented at that time were met with great interest from potential business partners, says Jacek Gzyl, CEO of Grenton.

The company's activities, actively supported by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, gained increasing momentum and resulted in the signing of the first contract with a distributor from the United Arab Emirates at PAIH headquarters in Dubai. Further contracts were signed in the following months - with distributors from Saudi Arabia (2019) and Kuwait (2020).
Grenton's more than three-year uninterrupted presence in the Gulf region, as well as the acquired business partners implementing their own projects using smart home solutions, made it possible to crown these activities with the event mentioned in the introduction.
