Last Friday, February 28, the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts hosted a gala ceremony, during which the jury selected the winners of the first edition of the SAW Interior of the Year competition. The competition for the most interesting and ambitious private and public interiors.
Two categories were awarded: Private Interiors and Public Interiors - the first three places were awarded in both, and two honorable mentions in the Public Interiors category. The jury composed of: Szymon Brodziak, Bazyli Krasulak, Katarzyna Kuo-Stolarska, Bibianna Stein-Ostaszewskaand Anna Wojczyńska, deliberating under the chairmanship of Robert Majkut, selected twenty finalist works from among two hundred submitted projects.
Private Interior
Particularly important criteria were the use of original design and innovative solutions. Adam Zwierzynski and Anna Porębska of MUS Architects answered these requirements in the Private Interior category. Second place went to Magda Smolanka of My Space. The third prize went to Katarzyna Widawska from Widawscy Studio of Architecture.

Public Interior
The winner in the Public Interior category was Bartosz Haduch of NArchitekTURA. Second and third place went to the projects of Agnieszka Trebenda-Toczydłowskaand Krzysztof Toczydłowski of TTA STUDIO. Honorable mentions in the Public Interior category were awarded to Marcin Kolanus and Jozef Franczok of PORT Pracownia i Studio Architektury and Marta Koniczuk, representing Marta Koniczuk Interior Design Studio.
