Construction of two more high-rise buildings is about to begin in Warsaw's Wola district. They will be part of a residential development being built in the neighborhood of the popular 19th District.

The area around Towarowa Street in Warsaw's Wola is turning into the second office mordor after Służewiec. All thanks to skyscrapers springing up like mushrooms after the rain. Construction has recently begun on The Bridge by UNStudio, and Generation Park and Unit by Daszyńskiego Roundabout are nearing completion. Meanwhile, at the back of the recently completed Skyliner, the Towarowa Towers project is to be built, which will complement the office development with residential functions.

The project is being carried out by ASBUD, a developer that has completed, among other projects, housing estates in the vicinity on the grounds of the demolished Rosa Luxemburg Plant on Karolkowa Street. It will include medium-high blocks between Daszyńskiego Roundabout and the 19th District (designed by JEMS Architekci). The two 95-meter high skyscrapers closest to the Skyliner and HUB office towers will be located. FS&P Arcus office of Mariusz Scisła, former president of SARP, is responsible for their architecture. The five buildings in total will house some 900 residential units ranging in size from 25 to 140 square meters.

The latest visualizations of the residential complex mainly show the buildings within the development dressed in visual effects. The rather average block architecture of the lower parts, is diversified in the case of the two skyscrapers. Bays that dynamize the massing appear, as do claddings arranged in a gradient of yellow-orange hues. What the investor's latest materials do not show, but can be found in previously published illustrations, is the proximity of the new development and the recently completed skyscrapers.

Towarowa Towers will stand right next to the more than twice as tall Skyliner, which will soon have another neighbor on the side of the already cramped walkway shared with The Warsaw Hub office buildings. So some residents will have a view of the office interiors and nothing else.
