In Warsaw's Wilanów district, architects from the Colombe studio designed a sunny interior for a 140 m² apartment. The apartment is dominated by white and natural materials, and the whole is complemented by designer details. What is the effect? See for yourself!

A&B: What was the main inspiration for this interior?
Colombe: The guideline was white interiors, but we had no inspiration here. The design process "flowed" on its own.
A&B: What was the biggest challenge, and what gave you the most pleasure during the design process?
Colombe: The difficult part was the kitchen - it had to be open and closed at the same time, and the space didn't allow much freedom. The pleasure, on the other hand, were the guidelines of the investors, who wanted to use only natural materials in the interior, without silicones, acrylics, MDF or laminates. Everything, both inside and out, was of wood, painted with a brush.

A&B: What were the investor's needs and requirements?
Colombe: White, cabinets and storage, only natural materials.
A&B: Where did you get the idea for this combination of materials and styles?
Colombe: The materials here were meant to be contrasting - brass stiles in simple tiles, terrazzo with fluted wood, red with white. Basically, sharp colors and strong points stand out against a bright background.
