The 25th Jubilee Construction Gala, organized by the Silesian District Chamber of Civil Engineers in Katowice and the Silesian Chamber of Construction, was held in the Jan Kiepura Concert Hall in Sosnowiec on November 17. According to tradition, the Gala honored individuals, institutions and companies whose activities have made a significant contribution to the development and shaping of the Silesian construction industry, among them were the lecturers of the Faculty of Architecture at the Silesian University of Technology—Dean Dr. Klaudiusz Fross Prof. PŚ, Deputy Dean Dr. Krzysztof Groń.
The Gala was attended by more than four hundred people from the construction industry, as well as invited parliamentarians, representatives of technical universities and local authorities of Silesian cities and municipalities. The event was hosted by Roman Karwowski, Chairman of the Council of the Silesian District Chamber of Civil Engineers in Katowice, and Mariusz Czyszek, President of the Silesian Chamber of Construction. They presented state decorations, medals and badges of honor, awards along with honorary titles of the „Silesian Construction” competition, and the winners of the Silesian Chamber of Engineers „Engineer of the Year 2022” competition were awarded. On behalf of the Silesian University of Technology, the Gala was attended by, among others: pro-rector Prof. Bogusław Łazarz, dean Dr. Klaudiusz Fross Prof. PŚ, vice-dean Dr. Krzysztof Groń.

Personality of the Silesian Construction Industry for the dean of WAPŚ
As the only one, the title „Personalityof the Silesian Construction Industry” was awarded to Dean Dr. Klaudiusz Fross, prof. of the WAPS. The award was given for outstanding achievements in the construction industry. On the other hand, Deputy Dean Dr. Krzysztof Groń received the honorary title of "Authority of the Construction and Silesian Economy."
During the Gala, Dr. Klaudiusz Fross Prof. PŚ also presented a statuette to BenchMan—Art and Design in Public Space, for thebrine graduation tower complexin the Busko-Zdrój Spa Park. The statuette was received by Waldemar Sikora, President of the City and Municipality of Busko-Zdrój. The realization was appreciated for its architecturally unique premise and promotion of good design. The award is recommended by the Silesian Chamber of Construction and the Faculty of Architecture of the Silesian University of Technology, and so far a total of 17 entities, companies, institutions and personalities have received the award.
