Combining favorite objects, art, colors and textures, the apartment in Wilanów, designed by Maja Dembowska of Dembowska studio architektury, has an exceptionally cozy atmosphere. Despite the juxtaposition of stylistically different elements, harmony prevails in the interiors thanks to the thoughtful layout. We invite you to come inside!
Crossing the threshold of the Warsaw apartment, through the hallway with vintage furniture, we get to the living area consisting of a living room combined with a kitchenette. In the living room it is worth noting the architect's original design - a maroon RTV cabinet on legs. Above the long black bookcase hangs a collection of graphics from Danish galleries Atelier CPH and HEIN Studio, as well as works by Maja Dembowska. Plants complete the interior design.

In the dining room, an original work by Rafał Olbinski catches the eye. A walnut table is another element designed by the architect. Blue chairs with openwork backs and a black lamp perfectly harmonize with it. An extension of the living area is a large green terrace, adding spaciousness to the interior.

kitchen in blue
The kitchen was divided into two zones. The part visible from the living room has an elegant character, thanks to sconces and French herringbone on the floor. The blue on the walls is courtesy of paint in the shade Mt. Rainier Gray. Here, the author's minimalist kitchen cabinetry blends with bright conglomerate countertops.

In the hidden part of the kitchen there are classic cabinets with milled fronts, and on the floor there are Fossil tiles, designed by Polish designer Kasia Zaremba. The same pattern also appears in the hallway and bathroom, and the characteristic dashes and stripes are one of the leitmotifs of the apartment's design.
cozy and intimate private zone
The apartment also has an intimate study, separated from the living room by a black steel structure with glazing. Attention is drawn to the openwork blue-pink fixture suspended from the ceiling, which matches the Ton chair and the geometric wallpaper on the walls.

The bedroom is the quintessence of coziness - cream walls and furniture, soft fabrics, comfortable pillows and interesting decorations. A touch of glitz is added by gold bedside cabinets, and a spacious white built-in closet ensures practicality and functionality. A separate world is the children's room with charming accessories. The bright colors of the walls, furniture and fluffy carpet were broken by the architect with strong, dark blue motifs. The highlight is a navy blue swing hanging from the ceiling. The bed is decorated with a powder-pink canopy, and a cheerful touch is added by pillows and stickers on the walls.

two bathrooms, two styles
There are two bathrooms in the apartment, with different styles. In the larger of the two, the main motif is the forest - present on the wallpaper and tiles, whose pattern resembles forest undergrowth.

A wooden cabinet under the sink also fits perfectly into the natural atmosphere, while a large bathtub allows for relaxing baths. The smaller bathroom represents a modern style. It is dominated by simple forms and black and white. The arrangement is enlivened by geometric tiles and ornaments and graphics on the wall.
