June will see the premiere of Central Europe's largest stone fair, the Marble Warsaw Fair, an event that will showcase market innovations in technology and finished stone products.
Speaking about the premiere of Marble Warsaw Fair, our wish is that this fair will be No. 1 in Poland and in this part of Europe. We are working on a formula for an event for the industry like never before. We will bring together in one place all professions related to stone, from stonemasons to architects, developers and designers. Warsaw is the capital of the entire Centraland Eastern European region, and this is the place for an event on a truly international scale. We anticipate that the number of exhibitors will exceed 200, and we have taken steps to ensure that these will be industry visitors, not only from Poland, but also from abroad. As part of our ongoing Hosted Buyers program, we are able to provide our visitors and exhibitors with B2B meetings with decision-makers from the sector they are interested in. We believe not only in the success of the event, but above all in its tremendous success and permanent inclusion in the calendar of fair events for the stone industry, architecture and construction investments in the broadest sense," says Magdalena Wysocka, Director of Marble Warsaw Fair.
The scope of the event will include natural stone, ceramics, design, stone processing tools, quarrying and processing machinery, a full range of stone chemicals and a transport zone. During the three days of the fair, professionals from the stone industry will talk about the use of this raw material in construction, decoration and current developments and trends in design. Also planned is a zone of dynamic presentations, where everyone will be able to see professional machines at work.
The program of the fair includes speeches by special guests who will share their knowledge on the use of stone in urban planning, workshops where architects and design offices will have the opportunity to learn about the possibilities of creating projects using stone and ceramics. For developers there will be lectures on investment, the use of stone in construction and panel discussions.
Marble Warsaw Fair's partner is IZFAS - organizer of the fourth largest stone fair in the world. Thanks to this cooperation, the fair will not lack key industry representatives from Turkey, China, Italy, Egypt, Portugal and Brazil. The Polish Stone Association (formerly the Association of Employers of the Stone Industry) is also an important partner in the event.
In Poland over the past decade, stone companies have invested heavily in modern production technologies. Companies have qualified personnel; these factors mean that we are able to provide services and perform to the highest world standards. The Polish industry is very well prepared to export its products. The Marble Warsaw Fair provides an opportunity to present high-end products offered to a wide range of customers from Europe and the world. I encourage you to take part in this fair and present your products and services. I would like Poland to become a large exporter of stone products and balance imports with exports," said Dariusz Duda, owner of the Focus-Stonesstone company.
