On February 12 this year we settled the first edition of the student competition for a press report on architecture. Out of twenty-three submitted works in the pre-selection, we selected eighteen, of which eight passed to the second stage, from which we finally awarded four, in our opinion, the best.
We decided to award the first prize of PLN 3,000 and a one-year subscription to A&B to Kina Zemle for her reportage entitled "Occupation and Resistance - Urban Guerrillas in the Fight Against the Housing Crisis" for its interesting coverage of important topics of the contemporary world, interesting take on the problem and clear reporter's form.
The first honorable mention and a one-year subscription to A&B was awarded to Michal Romaniuk for his work titled "A&B. "Happy Islands?", and two equal second-degree honorable mentions and a six-month subscription to A&B - Maja Czarnecka for her reportage entitled "Known material - unknown space" and Alina Celichowska for her work entitled "The world of selfies". "The world of selfies."
Congratulations to all authors, whose reports selected in the pre-selection will be published on the pages of the A&B portal every Saturday[here]. What's more, the authors of the works selected in the preselection will receive an annuale-subscriptionto A&B from us.
