The new office of the Gdansk Regional Medical Chamber will be built in Slupsk near the Janusz Korczak Regional Specialized Hospital. The building of the chamber's future headquarters is still a residential building for the time being, but the architect is waiting for the building's use to be changed to administrativeand office use. Construction work is scheduled to begin in late June/early July this year.
Judging by the design of the State Forest headquarters in Dretyń by Małgorzata Hendrych-Lubińska of the LOFFT ARCHITEKTURA WNĘTRZ studio, it can be expected that the new office of the District Chamber of Physicians in Gdansk with a delegation in Slupsk will be much more interesting than the already promising visualizations indicate.

The new headquarters of the Gdansk District Chamber of Physicians
The task facing the architect was to give the pondered building a new function and change its use from a single-family house to an administrative and office facility. A favorable factor is the open layout of the space, which facilitates the arrangement of new rooms in the building. The headquarters of the Medical Chamber must have room for a secretariat, a room for accounting with waiting rooms, meeting rooms and offices for the president, spokesman and patron.
The main inspiration for the architect was the logo of the District Medical Chamber itself, or more precisely, its colors. A light blue esculapist entwining a navy blue cross with a crown on a white background. The bright colors correspond to the well-sunlit interior, which was made possible by the large number of windows. This allowed for a spacious space, which can nevertheless be obscured if necessary. The glazing was highlighted and at the same time shielded by uniform planes of fabric covers in the logo's identifying colors: white and blue.

Each workspace was chosen by the architect to be highlighted by circular light fixtures. Their glow is reflected by the flooring, the material of which was also used on the staircase. The lining on the steps was repeated on the wall - it serves as a handrail and at the same time protects against dirt.

On the first floor of the building there is a common area, where one can not only hold a meeting, but also relax. The blue color is repeated in the interior, including on the seats in the meeting room and on the poufs. The idea for the interior design was born during the architect's discussions with the council of the Regional Chamber of Physicians in Gdansk, which suggested that the new headquarters should be characterized by elegance, the spaciousness of a place open to petitioners and one that would serve to hold frequent conferences and meetings.
