More than 235 speakers from around the world, interesting and diverse topics, 50 hours of interesting debates, skirmishes and lectures, and a wide selection of side events. The 6th edition of the International Congress on the Economy of Value - Open Eyes Economy Summit - will begin next week, with intergenerational relations - GeneRations- coming to the fore this year.

One of the videos in the series: GeneRations: they have their reasons; how do different #GeneRations see the future? Do the young see it differently from the older generation? In what ways? What is the reason for this? Do we approach technological development in the same way?

Held in Krakow since 2016, each time the event brings together prominent figures from the world of economics, science and culture. This year's congress on social value-based economics will be held on November 17-18 at the ICE Krakow Congress Center and on the Live OEES virtual streaming platform.

wide-ranging discussions

The congress is formed by four thematic blocks: COMPANY-IDEA, BRAND-CULTURE, CITY-IDEA and INTERNATIONAL GOVERNANCE. They will cover topics such as managing diversity in organizations, organizations and business ecosystems in the COVID era, historic cities, naturalization and vocalization of management, streaming & gaming, and designing a new world after a pandemic, among others. There will also be topics on foreign policy, the crisis of democratic states and the new US administration. This year, the organizers have also planned a special track on the Carpathian region, which will discuss the richness and diversity of the countries of Central Europe and the capital of the Carpathian mountain chain region, among other topics.

Invited speakers include Sneška Quaedvlieg-Mihailović, Secretary General of Europa Nostra, who will speak at the inaugural session of OEES; the Speaker of the Senate, Professor Tomasz Grodzki with aspeech "The role of the Senate in building the future of the Republic"; diversity expert and instagrammer Martyna Kaczmarek; Ernst Woller - President of the Austrian Parliament, who will speak at the session: Historic cities - what next?; Csilla Hegedüs - former deputy prime minister of Romania invited to a debate on the Carpathian Mountains; Felipe Buitrago Restrepo - former Minister of Culture of Bogotá; former foreign ministers - Radoslaw Sikorski, Dr. Wlodzimierz Cimoszewicz and Professor Adam Daniel Rotfeld, who will speak together in asession on the role of the United States in shaping the New International Order; writer John Thackara, who will take part in a discussion under the theme "Redesign the World," or Milosz "Miuosh" Borycki - artist, rapper and music producer, who will tell congress participants about the "new rules of the game."

I am glad that the group of Congress participants is so diverse. After all, we are standing on the brink of a climate catastrophe, and we are also getting increasingly strong signals that the continuation of an economic model based on maintaining growth at all costs is greatly accelerating our flight into the abyss. This is something that needs to be discussed as widely as possible -- says Professor Jerzy Hausner, Chairman of the OEES Program Council.
